Gmail Sign in & Gmail Sign Up – Best of 2016

Gmail sign up will get you a new Gmail account, and Gmail sign in is a routine procedure to login to your Google account. This article includes both the procedures just to make sure you find what you are looking for.

For both the procedures, you’ll need to begin from the Gmail web page, www.gmail.com.

Gmail sign up:

In the Gmail home/login page, click on the Create an account button/link to start with Gmail sign up. You’ll be directed to the “Gmail account registration page”, which basically is an electronic registration form, where you’ll need to fill in the necessary details under appropriate headings.
Start by entering your First and Last names.
Then, choose a username, i.e. your Gmail email ID. It looks something like username42@gmail.com. You can use letters, numbers and period in your email address. Modify your username or choose a different username altogether if the one you have entered is already registered.
Next, create a password for your email. Your password should be at least 8 characters long and should include at least three of the following to make it a strong one: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, symbols and periods.
Re-enter the password to confirm it.
Enter your Birthday and Gender.
Next, enter your Country Code with Mobile phone number and your current email address if you have one. These are optional. Remember, both the Mobile number and email address will be required to verify account, and to recover your email, if happen to forget your password.
Enter the characters you see in the image to verify a manual account sign up.
Select your current location, i.e. your Country.
Then, check the check-box below and click Next step.
Upload a user image or create a Google plus profile if you like. Else, click No thanks.
Finally, click on Continue to Gmail to go to your Gmail inbox.

Gmail sign in:

To perform Gmail sign in, click Sign in button at the top-right corner of the Gmail home page. If gmail.com directly gets you to the Gmail login page, jump to step 2.
Enter your Gmail email ID and click Next.
Then, enter your password in the next page.
Select the ‘Keep me signed in’ option if you are on a personal device. Else, uncheck it.
Finally, click the blue Sign in button to complete Gmail sign in procedure.

How to perform Gmail Sign in for Email?

First of all you’ll need to see this guidance page and at the same time you’ll have to try Gmail sign in for email procedure in another page for that you’ll have to open a new window. For, new-window you can use the same web-browser by clicking on File and New window or you can also use keyboard shortcut key like CTRL+N for Window based OS users and COMMAND+N for MAC OS users.

After opening a new window you’ll have adjust this window and new window side by side.

Your First name & Last name
Choose username – this will be your Gmail sign in for Email address. When choosing make sure its unique or you can also use the one that Google suggests.
Create a new password for this account and re-type the same password again on the next row.
Next you’ll have to add your Birthday and Gender.
Enter your mobile number – before doing so – first choose your country code.
If you have any other email address with Gmail or Hotmail or even Yahoo you may enter it on the next row where it says ‘Your current email address’
Now you’ll have prove that you are not a robot – to do that you’ll have enter the number that you would see in the image shown in the image or you can just skip it by clicking on the correction box but skipping this step you’ll have to verify yourself from SMS or phone.
Next is that you provide from which country you are from.
Now click on the correction box where it says ‘I agree…. ‘

Now, click on ‘Next step’ to continue your Gmail sign in for email.

The page that loads up next will ask you id you would like to join Google+ profile. (Google+ is same like Facebook but different)

You can skip this step by clicking on SKIP, else
Make Google+ and continue.
